The cover art is kind of cool...just the title seems rather small and out of place. I still want this...I cant wait to hear that Stephen Thrower commentary.
The version with the typical Arrow slip cover will be available exclusively from the Arrow store and is limited to 500 copies. http://www.arrowfilms.co.uk/index.php?tle_id=689&art_id=4
well crap does this mean amazon and other retailers won't get this "regular" slip cover release? I liked those... ah well pre ordered hope I got one before 500 were sold
Like stated on Arrow´s website, payment for pre-order items will be collected now for despatch on the release date. So, if you already had your money collected then you have nothing to worry about. I´m going for the steel, I´m a sucker for those...
I've gone for the steel simpley because i'am to lazy to open an account with arrow. Now if they took paypal it might be a different story.
Me pictured with composer Fabio Frizzi at Glasgow Film Theatre post Zombie Flesh Eaters screening on sunday evening. Afterwards i chatted with him while he signed all my stuff. What a charming man he is
And what a charming man you are if you told us how was the print quality, as it will most certainly be the one used for the future Arrow release...
i preordered the steelbook as well, although i would have preferred the slipcover version. but i don't like the fact that arrow takes your money immediately upon preordering, rather than waiting until the product ships. that, and that alone, is why i went with amazon.co.uk instead.
The print looked absolutely fantastic ! I commented to Fabio how the movie looked like it was made yesterday ! Great night ! Oh and the Q&A session after movie was filmed for the arrow release, i asked Fabio a question so i`m on it well my vioce anyway
Even though that youtube video is heavily compressed, the colors and contrast is way better than the BU disc, and it looks more film-like. Also there is more image information on all sides as the BU disc was cropped and windowboxed. FINALLY my all time favorite Zombie movie seems to get the treatment it deserves
I guess the days of region-free releases are long gone w/ Arrow. Both this and Black Sunday are region-locked. That sucks!
There's some stuff coming up from the UK that will be hard to pass up. Does anyone know if the movies being released by "88 Films" (Castle Freak) and Second Sight (the Scanners Trilogy, Bride of ReAnimator) will be region free?
