Hey guys been reading this thread and it occured to me I only own and have seen the first one. I looked through my collection and I apparently own a Wrong Turn 3 pack it has 1 through 3. Just finished one through 2. Loved the first one great cast and awesome inbred designs by Stan Winston. Saw Tooth is my favorite. Part 2 is good alot of gore mixed with action and a new cast of freaks. The only thing I didnt like was they tried to blame toxic waste for there disfigurement not inbreeding. About to start 3 and see what its all about. Do the original three ever come back in the series I remember reading one is a prequal?
Yeah, it just doesn't take the code. After I enter it the site says "30048: The UV copy of the film you are attempting to redeem is temporarily unavailable. Please check back soon." or, sometimes, a similar error that doesn't say "temporarily". It's not a big deal since I just wanted the BD, but I do like seeing my virtual collection grow when I buy titles with these codes since I figure maybe the service will come in handy someday and it is frustrating since I did pay for both the code and the disc. No response from foxredeem.com site support either! :/
I thought part 3 was dreadful and from what I remember most on this forum agree. I wouldn't factor in part 3 when you are deciding whether or not to continue with the series. Part 4 is my favorite.
I couldnt make it through the whole thing. I fell asleep about 20 minutes into it. Have to finish it another day.
4 is certainly a prequel, and 5 and 6 are supposed to be prequels as well, but only 4 admitted it was. I swear 5 and 6 act like the first 3 films never happened most of the time. It's the same 3 killers in each, only the makeup gets worse as they go. I can bag on this series all day, but I still love it.
Could someone pick up the film for me? I cant seem to find it anywhere in my area. I would pay for the dvd and shipping. I dont need the blu unless thats all that can be found.
I haven't seen any dvds since release week, but there were still 6 bd's at Best Buy yesterday. If a scalper didn't clear em last night (been watching these sit for weeks, so unlikely), I'm gonna go pick a couple copies up today to turn shopkick rewards to cash, while helping out a couple people who missed it. I was thinking of you first (since you already asked) if you still need a copy, PM me. EDIT: Best Buy refuse to sell me any copies today as it no longer shows up in their system, and they have no work around since it doesn't show up anywhere else either.
From that article: What I don't understand is why the hell this hasn't already been done for the streaming version. We're talking about something that requires the editing skills of your average youtube uploader here. The whole code still not working thing (just checked again, same error...) is like a big “Fuck you!” to everyone who bought it because the offending material could be so easily removed. Fox doesn't respond to emails about this and if you call them on the phone you will get nothing but apathy no matter how many times you ask how it is right and not fraud for them to keep half of your purchase from you. I get that they're probably not going to re-press such a poorly reviewed title but it is pretty unbelievable that the Digital HD codes STILL don't work!
I know I'm old school and old (turn 32 tomorrow) but can we please get a new Friday the 13th, A Nightmare on Elm Street or Child's Play before another Wrong Turn film?
You act like it's been ages since we saw another Child's Play film. It's only been about 13 months
Careful what you wish for, or these could all turn into Wrong Turn style DTV releases. Besides, they've all been represented pretty well whether you like the remakes or not. Just this century we've had: 10/23/13 - Curse of Chucky 4/30/10 - Nightmare on Elm Street remake 2/13/09 - Friday the 13th remake 11/12/04 - Seed of Chucky 8/15/03 - Freddy vs Jason 4/26/02 - Jason X 6 of em, to go with the 6 Wrong Turn films! Only Saw has more!
Not here. They still them for rent, but they are rated R and are missing all features from the retail version. Border's still has an unrated dvd, but it's $22.99.
Shit, I didn't realize there was a R vs Unrated release. I picked up the BD from Family Video for $7.99. What's the difference between the two?
