$110 Don't know if that's good or bad. Seems like a good price to me. This one is so extremely rare to find, I would have thought it would have been much higher.
It's actually a Mondo poster, limited to 200 from their Alamo Drafthouse screenings. I'm sure you're well aware of them, but on the slight chance you're not, here's the site: http://www.mondotees.com/

Here's a better shot from a real camera. I posted these in the LD forum a few months ago. I just ordered two more frames.
Are you guys picky about originals? I guess there is the collector mentality but it seems reprints not only have better colors, but also don't have to deal with lines and what not. I want to pickup two posters to go up on the wall in my computer room and I'm trying to decide between original and reprints.
I think originals are mostly a personal thing, knowing you possess an original poster with some history. I'd assume some people dig the weathered look too. Personally, I don't care. If the original isn't pricey, I'd likely go for that. But say a reprint is $30 versus double or more for an original, the reprint is just fine for me.
I love originals but sometimes reprints are a sensible option. I would love to have originals of "I Drink Your Blood" combo, "Invisible Invaders" and the Corman flicks but it's just not financially do-able.
I have beautiful re-prints of The Burning and Fright Night. I wanted the artwork, but I wasn't willing to pay the going rate. I'm really happy with these two, they look legit but minus the wear and tear. I also have reprints of Night Of The Demons and Sleepaway Camp, which look good. I just wanted the artwork, so they serve their purpose. But they aren't as impressive as the other two. The paper used is a little different, you can tell by touching it. But the image quality itself is very good. The posters were under $10 each, so given the price I was very happy. I got them from Amazon Marketplace sellers. Something to be aware of if you are looking for reprints online: if there are fold lines in the seller's display image, there will most likely be printed fold lines in your re-print. I noticed this mentioned in several of the buyer feedback for several sellers, so it was something I was very careful about when selecting posters. I was looking for a cheap re-print of the Slumber Party Massacre poster, but all the ones I found had fold-lines in the image. I'm out of wall-space anyway.
Originals all the way for me. The lines don't bother me at all - Once put on archive matting you can barely notice them anyway. The like the idea of them appreciating in value as well
I just bought these two...both reprints. Seller has solid feedback so I'm hoping for good quality. Do you guys have any recommendations where to buy some good quality frames? I'm looking for black wood ones. These two are going to take up some empty space on the wall in my computer room. I may get two more down the road as I still have some empty space on the wall. I'm going to go with two more LD frames first, however.
Most of my money goes to my DVD addiction, so I rarely buy original one-sheets. The ones that I have- Mountaintop Motel (original artwork) Mountaintop Motel Massacre (New World theatrical) Creepshow Creepshow 2 The Pit The Mutilator Evil Laugh Don't Go In The House Cheerleader Camp House By The Cemetery (US ART) The Gates Of Hell The Redeemer
I'm not a huge Savage Streets fan, but that poster is AWESOME. Might have to look that one up when I have some extra disposable cash.
