I used to have a video for Waxwork 2. I don't know if it was unrated though... I remember it being quite bloody. Then i saw it on Scream Channel last year and it was edited down big time. (must be the r rated on Scream) The space sequence where the guy's helmet is smashed and his head explodes was gone. The sound fx for it are only heard. The Vid I had showed blood pouring from the hole in the helmet. I dunno what version is on the dvd though.

Yeah, the 2nd one also had an unrated release, which had all the gore . I really like then both, I think equally. Sounds like from all this info, I and anyone who likes the films should pick up this dvd.

I watch the second one just for Bruce Campbell's role as the parapsychologist. It's hysterical when he's tied to the beams in the basement...

i just through in the dvd and on during the space scene on the artisan dvd, they showed an alien or something pul a tube attached to a guy's helmet and then you see his head explode with a huge amount of blood bursting out. so i guess waxwork 2 in unrated on the artisan dvd too!

Over at The AV Club, they sat down with John Rhys-Davies to discuss many of his roles over the years, and, yes, Waxwork came up!

Oh, how I love Waxwork. Never really enjoyed part 2 though.
