Sounds good to me, Bakula's character was a recurring one in Barker's stories anyway. A sequel would be welcome, but Dimension is not! :fire:

I've heard about this being in production for years and havent seen a thing, though it wouldnt surprise me that when I DO see something, it'll probably suck.

With Barker not writing the story, it seems the root of some Hell Raiser sequels, perhaps the screenwriter could surprise us with something decent, always that possibility, but see what happens.

Dimention has been a constantly vile and unrepentant rapist of any horror product that is frachise-able. I know some have actually liked what they have commited against the Hellraiser series, but I found it distasteful and unforgivable. Not only that, they clearly have little respect or regard to the creator of that series... note the nasty comments about Barker from Inferno director and that ridiculously laughably offensive statement on the back of Hellseeker... "Better then the original..." My ass!!!

And if this is true, I dread anything they do to the concept. A dreary day indeed, when Dimetion gets their hands on another Barker property. A dreary day whenever they get their hands on a horror series.

    What's next...
Children of the Corn VS The Cenobites?
The Crow: From Dusk Til Dawn?
    Halloween X: Mimicing Michael?
    or
Scream 4: Ghost Face in Haddonfield?

In sincerely hope that MGM didn't sell this property. I'd hate to see it turn into a direct-to-video mess like Hellraiser.

Lord of Illusions is one of my favorites. It was also one of my first LD purchases, first gatefold as a matter of fact. Oh, how I fell in love with gatefolds after that!

Anyhow, Lord of Illusions 2
Dimension on the other hand.... :fuck:

Dimension films is taking a property and making a sequel without the participation of who made the original? Well, I'm certainly surprised.

Hey, who wants to bet it was a completely unrelated script and they paid some guy five dollars and a quart of whiskey to alter it and slap the Lord of Illusions name on it?

I'll bet you five dollars and a quart of whiskey.
