Not quite that, but the outer case is closer to the VSA's - but instead of bottom-loading, it's side-loading (with a cutout which makes it kinda shaped like a home recorded VHS case), and the case inside also has the standard slipcover on it.

Here are two examples of the movie, slipcover, and outer case. I mentioned that Deadlock also featured this packaging but it doesn't.

Also, it hasn't been posted here yet - but New York Ninja is now on sale, as well as 6 new partner label releases as of Nov. 1st:

    Blood-A-Rama Triple Feature
(Help Me... I'm Possessed, Night of the Srangler, Carnival of Blood) (AGFA)
    Radio On (Fun City Editions)
    Knocking (Yellow Veil)
LA Plays Itself: The Fred Halstad Collection (Altered Innocence)
    Keep An Eye Out (Dekanalog)
    Sorority Slaughter (Saturn's Core Video).

But in other news, VS also confirmed on Facebook a couple of titles (via their clues they posted on Facebook) for next year's 2022 slate:

Michael Findlay's SHRIEK OF THE MUTILATED (1974) - fully uncut and with the 'Popcorn' song licensed! (Originally posted on the Blu-ray forums as a image clue - which was guessed correctly)

Gary Winick's CURFEW (1988) (Original FB clue posted by Joe Rubin: This never (legally) on DVD independent crime thriller styled slasher (?) really tries a bit of everything, from home invasion, teenagers in peril, revenge killings, and more.)

Stelvio Massi's ARABELLA: BLACK ANGEL (1989) (Original FB clue posted by Joe Rubin: This stylish piece of late 80s sleaze could be deemed an inspiration to Lorena Bobbitt.)

That's over the top as far as I'm concerned, this just adds to the cost of an already inflated product. I suppose from a re-sell perspective this really helps and if you want them without the slips just get them from other retailers, so there are options available (unlike the synapse model) but I still not really understand the point.

Since this is a pressing of 8000 I'm sure it will be around for awhile.

I had a Dutch DVD of Curfew by the label RCV more than 10 years ago and they weren't a bootleg label. Probably means US DVD.

Shallow grave and resurrection were really awesome movies. I wonder if invisible maniac is one of the 2 secret black Friday titles?

The Keaton box set looks good, but I'll probably wait till the Halfway sale when it'll truly be half price.

This is just rumour and speculation so take with a grain of salt, but there's a probability one of them (the mystery 4K release) may be Ebola Syndrome.

I watched it yesterday. I hadn't seen the movie since it premiered on HBO in the 90's. I honestly couldn't remember much about it after all that time, but it is a really excellent movie.
