^ If that's supposed to be one of their surprise titles, Amusement Park doesn't fit either of their clues.

I believe they said one is a 4K double feature and the movies are incredibly gory (the speculation seems to be the Scanner Cop movies), and the other is an '80s cable TV staple.

    First order in

    Forgotten Gialli Vol 2
    Forgotten Gialli Vol 3
    Spellcaster
    Alphabet City
    I Start Counting
    The Candy Tangerine Man/Lady Cocoa
    Sugar Cookies (slip only)
Count Dracula's Great Love (slip only)

Hated paying $16 for cardboard, but we all know Vinegar Syndrome's slips are top notch, and I love both movies.

I seem to be missing something. Everything I'm looking at is the same price as before. Even when added to the cart, and about to check out.

Huh, for a hot minute there I thought Forgotten Gialli: Volume Three was $39.99 but I probably just misread that? Some other stuff not yet 6 months old were also 50% off so I figured that was part of it too but now it's $49.99.

Alien From L.A.!?! No way! I'll be buying that for sure... When it's 50% off in November. :D

It's stuff that's been out for at least 6 month that's got sale prices. Clear Cookies/Cache? Otherwise close out your web browser, wait 30 seconds and restart it.

Don't forget to check the halfway description...

Just you wait and see what we've planned for the Summer and Fall, with the mind bending French treasure DEVIL STORY heading to Blu-ray for the first time, the Tromatic classic GIRLS SCHOOL SCREAMERS, the bonkers and never-on-Blu TOUGH GUYS DON'T DANCE, a giallo double feature of NOTHING UNDERNEATH (featuring a scissors killer and Donald Plesance eating spaghetti at Wendy's) and TOO BEAUTIFUL TO DIE, plus an early 70s Euro horror box set, more Cardona Collections, more slashers, more UHDs, our second (!) 3D-BD of one of the genre's true cinematic landmarks, and over a dozen more wild and wonderful releases...

Maybe I'm just reading it wrong, but it sure as hell looked like they were saying Six String Samurai was going to be 50% off. If that isn't what they meant, its definitely misleading.

Also, Mondo-Digital, Blu-ray.com, and RockShockPop all have reviews for these up already.

Champagne & Bullets sounds interesting. Any recommendations?

Yeah, $7.99 is a bit much for extra cardboard but I love me some Naschy and Quigley. I would have gotten one for Sugar Cookies as I love me some Lowry but I was pretty unimpressed with it. If I'm going to drop an extra 8 bucks I need more than what they've got there.

I'm still hoping for a Hobgoblins slip. I'll take a UHD though. o_O

It's their flag ship title for the sale but it's not on sale; it's a new release.

Aye, I get its a new release. Its new, but I also know its been out long enough to have been headlined before, calling it out in the same banner as 50% off is misleading when its price is still the same as before.

Even their Beastmaster Limited set (which is over 6 months old) was just $5 off what I recall it was before. I thought about it, but again knew I didn't care about the extra swag and I don't buy based on what I can sell it for later (but clearly enough people went for it, since it is gone). Ended up the standard edition is all I bought, already had everything else I was interested in (mostly at the same price point).

The only thing that really comes to mind for the 3D/4K Horror would be Flesh for Frankenstein, which would mean that Blood for Dracula is probably the other 4K UHD Horror, this November.

    Vol 2 is $39.99, Vol 3 is $49.99.

My original plan was to just get Volume 2 this sale, then wait for BF for Vol 3 when it too will be $39.99. But since I've spent so much time this past month making sure Vol 2 had enough in stock to make it to the sale, the extra 10 bucks I spent will save me from having to do that for the next six months for Vol 3.

Yeah, now that I look at it, the Sugar Cookies slip is pretty lackluster. Oh well. I liked the movie, and it's only 8 bucks. I'll spend more than that on tacos tomorrow.

I'd be all over both of those if that's the case. Just wish I could see 3-D. Oh well, I did get to see Frankenstein twice theatrically when I was able to see 3-D.

Placed my largest VS order yet, but didn't get any of the new announcements.

    Don't Panic [with slip] $19.99
Rest In Pieces [with slip] $19.99
    The Caller [with slip] $17.49
Jeremy [Fun City Editions with slip] $17.49
Luther the Geek [with slip] $17.49
    Dark Tower [with slip] $19.99
Smile [Fun City Editions with slip] $24.99
    Hell Comes to Frogtown $16.49
    The McPherson Tape [AGFA] $16.49

Will get the Scanner Cops, Televised Terror, Home Grown Horror, and Walking the Edge when they're 50% off (or the slips are in danger of going OOP) down the line. Only newer disc I went in on was Smile because the slip numbers are dropping faster than any previous Fun City release. Since the VSUs will basically never be discounted unless you pre-order, I'm gonna watch Six-String Samurai this weekend and see if it's something I want to drop $45 on.
