Man, that Vinyl of Halloween 3 looks sick. Wish I could just buy that on its own.

Diabolik has all of the upcoming Halloween UHD films available for $28.99 each. That is $8.00 less per title than on Shout's site. They don't include the posters though so it depends on whether you think the poster is worth the additional $8.00.

There's always room in the collection for Halloween. Sweet. I ordered the first 3 films. Credit Card OFFICIALLY MAXED OUT.

Ugh. I got drunk last night and ordered the $299.99 Halloween set. I'll keep the movies, but after a while I'll sell everything else and turn a profit.

I regret double dipping on Big Bad Mama. The PQ is not that much different than the DVD, and the movies themselves are mildly amusing but far from classics. Plus as I mentioned back in May, the DVD allows the viewer to watch both movies back-to-back with Corman trailers before and in between, that option is not on the Blu.

I just had that FOMO when it and Crazy Mama/Lady in Red were given the double-secret limited edition treatment. And actually, Crazy Mama isn't much to write home about either (at least the BBM movies have a fair amount of nudity....Julie McCullough = yum!), but The Lady in Red is just an all-time classic, a perfect example of a good movie that's hiding inside an exploitation flick.

Was about to auto buy this, but after checking those screen caps out, I think I might stick with my Koch blu. Nothing wrong with the Scream Factory version, just seems the picture sharpness and ratio is near identical, just the colors are brighter on the Scream Factory. And I think more restrained colors fits the film's mood (and possibly the film makers' intent) better.

Certainly if I hadn't already made the hunt for the import in order to finally get a quality blu of this classic I'd think otherwise, the US available options of a decent but long in the tooth DVD and a sub-par compilation blu demand better.

Yeah, having checked the screen caps I've cancelled my Amazon pre-order of the new one and will stick with the Koch release.
