Is it embarrassment about being in the film? I was under the impression their power broker talent agency, Creative Artists Agency, went after Sony in the 90's for delaying the release to exploit the stardom they would achieve in Jerry Maguire and A Time to Kill.

It's not like they're name dropping big actors that are barely in the film. They both have significant roles. I'd understand more if they were trying to sell a big name that had a tiny role.

I just thought of something. Why not sneak the "first" artwork on the inside, reversible sleeve? That would be hilarious.

P.S. - Ok, so I get not wanting the names or pictures on the cover art. Errrrr. Do the agents/actors realize they are in the movie itself. LOL Anyway, nobody (talking mainstream consumers) even knows this Blu-ray is coming out and it's not like it's gonna be on shelves everywhere. It's sorta cult territory. Lucky if they sell 3000 copies.

Maybe it’s terrific. I think that the stills I have seen of the new 4K transfer of NINJA III look worse than the old one.

Yeah, I'm probably just gonna stick with my older release after seeing the comparison between the old and new transfer above. It might have a touch better clarity and grain, and overall compression but the colour grade on it blows out some of the highlights and details and doesn't look as authentic to the original film...

I already sold my old Ninja III and In The Mouth Of Madness blu-rays when these were announced, so I'll be picking up the new versions for the extras.

But yeah, those Ninja III screenshots are... something...

Hmm. Interesting comparison for sure. I actually think the new transfer looks better, except for the 4th screenshot comparison. The new one looks wonky. Way too washed out.

Knowing that the new transfer is overly bright is a turn off for me. Warner Bros’ blu ray of Strange Brew is also very bright and everytime I view it I have to go in and manually lower the brightness by a significant amount just to make it normal looking. I don’t want a second film like that in my collection if I can help it.

Yeah just looked and that one's odd. Generally speaking though a 4k transfer is great news so I'm still excited. Plus I also sold off my old blu-ray of In The Mouth of Madness.

Not really. For one thing, the title is misleading and I believe the actual on-screen title is correct at just Alien Predator as there's only one alien in the movie. They originally marketed it on home video back in the day with the added 's' to make it seem more exciting than it actually is. Some might find it enjoyable in a bad-it's-good way but it's mostly and unfortunately boring and cheap. But I also saw it on an extremely shoddy looking VHS, so maybe on Blu-ray it'll look better which might draw one in a bit more to it's "charm".
