So excited about the Exorcist II release.
More this September:
MST3K The Lost and Found Collection (LOL at the product description!):
Peyton Place Part 5:
Rolling Stone: Stories From the Edge:
Scream for Help > The Stepfather for me also. It also has "Pete" from A New Beginning, and Nancy Drew dropping F bombs.
I'll be picking up The Heretic as well. I understand why people are put off by it, but I find it an easier and more fascinating watch than anything after, including III. Though I do love that jump scare in the third.
Stepfather is perhaps a classier film, but Scream For Help is way more fun. Love both though!
Interesting as this set is made up of releases from Vol. 14 and 17. It would seem they've given up on Soultaker and The Final Sacrifice ever having another release.
Shout has re-issued the Rhino releases Vol. 1 through 7. Leaving Vol. 8 - 12 as yet unreleased. They seem poised to do so based on what's available on Shout's streaming: even Vol. 9 and 10.2.
They will have released two sets like these since re-issuing Vol. 7. I'm guessing these six titles have more money tied up than what they have that still needs to be re-issued. I wonder if/when then back on track with Rhino re-issues.
I haven't seen SCREAM FOR HELP since it was on cable back in the 80s. Definitely looking forward to revisiting it, but I am not shocked to read that those who missed it the first time around aren't fans.
Scream for help is fun but I like The Stepfather a lot more I still have the Scream for help vhs I got from when Hollywood Video closed.
Mondo Digital reviews Ninja III: The Domination: http://mondo-digital.com/domination.html
Speaking of Scream For Help / The Stepfather, I might not be surprised to see Shout Factory releasing a trilogy set of The Stepfather 1 - 3 in the near future.
I've been noticing that Shout has been adding a ton of stuff to Amazon Prime streaming (including titles like the recently announced Brain Dead). But I'm noticing a lot of titles they haven't announced yet.
It's possible they only have the streaming rights, so this doesn't necessarily guarantee a blu-ray is in the works. But it certainly raises the chances.
Some of the titles I'm seeing include:
The Stepfather 2
The Stepfather 3
Welcome Home, Roxy Carmichael
All Of Me
The Company Of Wolves
The Last Seduction (which I believe Scorpion announced at one point)

Oh I would kill for a Shout Select release of All of Me!
Owned by Lionsgate so no go.
Now if you're talking about the 1934 movie since it's a Universal flick, that's a different story.
EDIT: OK, I see your point; the 1984 film is available for free on Prime with Shout! being listed as the studio. Still doesn't make sense, since Lionsgate's VOD listing is still there.
Speaking of, I hope we see more Universal titles soon. I know Universal is releasing the first 4 Chucky sequels on Blu-ray by themselves this August, but I don't think I'm alone when I say we want CE of those titles tout suit.
You know, the awkwardness to this is the 1984 film was originally distributed by Universal.
Apparently Scream Factory was forced to change their Texas Chainsaw 4 artwork. See if you can tell the difference:
Also, a double feature of Sorority House Massacre 2 and Hard To Die is on the way from Scream Factory, according to Wynorski.
I knew Renee was pretty ashamed of it and get that, but why should McConaughey give a fuck? And I'm almost certain their use of likeness was cleared through their contract, so Shout must just be playing nice.
And I'm totally down for Hard to Die.
Stupid cunts, you made a shit movie get over yourselves!
Yeah, whose people bitched? Or did the agent for one person call on the other to form a unified front?
So aggressive. I like it (you're comment, not the movie. That does indeed suck).
Renee doesn't have a Hollywood career anymore after her plastic surgery disaster.
I guess the rumors were true.
I know McConaughey made a joke about it on Jimmy Kimmell, but he mistakenly said he was in TCM3. And Zellweger has said in intervirws that running from a guy with a chainsaw is great cardio.
