I read a few weeks ago that a December release is forthcoming, from a label I've never heard of before. But I can't remember / find where I read this...anyone know anything?
It's coming Dec. 1st from Wham!, a Televista (aka, JEF ) release. Will probably be a video rip, but we'll see.
I've always wanted to see this. I've seen it on other region dvds. I just couldn't bring myself to blow $50. I do believe it had a japanese cover. I used to see it all the time over at xploitedcinema.
The Japanese DVD was too expensive and is OOP now I think. http://dvdsleuth.blogspot.com/2009/09/knife-of-ice-on-grey-area-r1-dvd.html
Woah, woah. Knife of ICE is a FANTASTIC Giallo! No QUESTION! Although the pacing is somewhat slow, the final twist is wicked. Definitely worth checking out, and really in need of R1 remaster.

Umberto Lenzi’s “Knife of Ice” (1973)! Featuring a brand new 2K restoration from the OCN! https://youtu.be/b1wr297ppbY More info TBA!
Yeah, read that a couple of weeks ago. Those French releases are not always English friendly (or have annoying forced subs). Le Chat .. in the past have worked together with 88 Films (UK) and Camera Obscura (Germany), so here's hoping one of those companies will pick it up as well.
