Man, I don't care about the brighter picture, I kinda like the darker look myself, but a 95 minute EPK? Had that been mentioned during pre-order I probably would've ordered myself a copy, esp. since it's not on youtube (yet) like I thought it would be. Still cool with my old disc, but bummed that what I thought would be 2-3 minutes of bull-ass-shit sounds like 90+ minutes of good shit.

I can't wait for mine to show up (should be tomorrow) - so glad I sold the old one on ebay to pick this up - even made a profit on top of it

    Got mine today.

I'm really surprised that they ship these limited editions in bubble mailers... I would've been pissed if it came damaged.

My Fright Night case was broken. I called, and they can't do exchanges because it's sold out. They're going to try and send me a replacement case though, but they don't have any right now and have no idea when they will get them. So if anyone gets a defective disc, you're shit out of luck.

My Breaking Away blu-ray is perfectly fine though. The person on the phone said they received several of the Fright Night blu-rays damaged, I guess they had no choice but to ship them because there's only 5,000 and they had 5,000 ordered. Unfortunately, looks like I'm one of the suckers who got stuck with one.

How about just replacing the damaged case instead of going through all of the hassle of returning it  There is a ton of sites that sell replacement cases cheap, I always have a few on hand just for this reason

Nope, you'll just have to contact SAE/TT about receiving a damaged product.

Omfg I just looked at my visa statement. With the exchange, this came to fucking $50 CAD. Jesus fucking Christ. I'm not sure at this point if it's even worth that much. If I had known the exchange was that shitty I wouldn't have bought it.

Received mine in the mail just now. The bottom left corner of the case it crushed, which also ripped the cover art. I immediately emailed them (with photographic proof), asking if they had any way for me to get a new case and artwork even though it's sold out. I assume the disc is fine.

Has anyone had any experience with their service? I have been anti-TT and broke my boycott this one time because I just couldn't pass it up. Stupid, stupid me.

I shared my experience on the previous page.

Screen Archives told me exchanges were impossible because it's entirely sold out, they don't have any extra copies. I'd assume that goes for the artwork / booklet as well. They should be getting replacement clear cases at some point in the future (although they have no idea when), but for now they only have blue cases to offer as a replacement. They said they received several damaged copies when they got them, but I guess they had no choice but to ship them damaged since they had all sold.

Twilight Time themselves didn't even reply. Shame on them! :fuck:

for them knowingly to be shipping products that are damaged is crazy?!

Surely the better thing to do would be to contact their supplier and run off some more copies. Perhaps common sense isn't a standard feature at TT? :bs:

p.s. I prefer the original release they did compared to the brightfest 30th!

On a limited edition Blu-Ray at that price, they are fucking people with damaged discs?? What the hell is wrong with them. I suggest calling your credit card company and trying to reverse the charges. Show the proof that the company is unwilling to work with you. At least you could get a refund and a free disc.
