Either my DVDs of Hard Boiled and The Killer(mainly becuase i got them when they were OOP and it was the best blind buy i ever made) or my Herzog/Kinski set for same reasons above and simply becuase the movies are all great!

For horror it would be the Suspiria 3 disc Special Edition.

  3. Demons & Demons 2

The pride of my collection, even though in a couple months it will be redone, is HALLOWEEN: LE. I love HALLOWEEN (obviously) and the transfer is fantastic, the documentary cool and the extended cut a great extra. The disc was also one of the first discs I ever bought, so it has some sentimental value too.

The pride of my collection was a gift: "Fantômas," five films by Louis Feuillade (1913-14), based on the famous French pulp fiction figure of Fantômas: killer, thief, and all 'round bad guy. The box set comprises 2 dvds, a booklet, period artwork, and over 5 hours of film (French Region 2 discs).

Feuillade has been overshadowed in film history by his contemporaries, the Lumière Brothers and George Méliès, but his work (he made approximately 400 films!) is just as important. However, his films were loved by the French Surrealists of the period.
