That figures. That two minute video featured better acting than Will Smith is capable of. Then again, Arnold Schwarzenegger wanted to make that film for years. That may have been worse.

Practical makeup work would have sold the reality of the situation far better than the CGI.I think we are fast losing the generations of directors who DON'T immediately think CGI is the answer to everything.CGI is a great tool at it's best but it is not the best fit for all occassions.

The terrible CGI that turned the movie into a bad video game was my main problem with the film, it's too bad that if they weren't idiots that problem wouldn't have existed. Could have been a great flick instead of barely watchable like it is now.

Can't say its suprising. Every film seems to think CGI is great when in fact it looks so cheesy 99 percent of the time, its like when I see it I automatically know the film is going to suck the majority of the time. That and the fact it had Will Smith in it.

My issue is with the fact that it seems the studios don't concentrate on the script. they just figure the special effects will bail them out or they go around every problem with the words we'll fix it in post.

It wasn't just the cgi, the film was bad on EVERY level.

That's what you get for trying to remake a movie three times
