If he want to sell a few boxsets, he should lower the price to $100. $250 is just fucking insane. Though, it's Charles Band, so why should I expect anything else...
But, but, but..... DUUUUUUUDES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! With Future Pay, sign up at checkout and you can BUY NOW - PAY LATER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOLOLOL What a joke.
Yeah, it wouldn't surprise me at all if they just grabbed the discs out of the existing Blu-ray releases (from the other studios) and stuck them in those, or some multi-case thing.
With there bring no Troll 2 included (thank god), it's the only intruiging thing about this whole overpriced joke of a set lol.
I agree the set is a bit pricey, but it does come with an exclusive 24 page booklet. I'm sure there's a wealth of information concerning these 18 movies and the history of Empire Pictures that more than justifies buying all of these previously released films again.
...and except for some lame new CB introduction, all of it probably just sourced directly from the Empire of the 'B's book!
Maybe they're saving that for the Filmirage commemorative boxset. (Which I'm guessing Shout!/Scream Factory would likely have the most film licenses for, currently.)
Well, the only reason I was interested was the presentation of the actual box art. Ghoulies is definitely the worst looking. Just taking one of the original posters and adding I & II is pretty fucking lame. Pass.
Hahahahaha, an in-house unboxing video? Definitely not a hired actress to promote your product... If you listen closely at the 5:25 mark in the video you can hear someone whisper "Brookhart" off camera to remind her to mention the name of the artist who did the package design.
Ugh, lots of annoying overacting from the bimbo... "Even the back has, like, purple. So awesome!"... Kill me!! Where is Jason when you need him
