I apologize deeply if someone has posted on this already but I didn't recover anything from my search...

Has any one seen this film? Just curious as Amazon's reviews are all scathing, one-star affairs. I'm digging back into Grindhouse-type features thanks to, well, Grindhouse. I'd like some opinions from fellow HorrorDVD'ers before venturing down the Naziploitation path...:eek1:

Well, I can't recall ever seeing it, but the funny thing is I'm doing a cross stitch of it (weirdly enough). It had some ridiculous poster art.

I can only say one thing about this flick:

    Monster-like guy that eat pubes

    That is all.

It's not bad as far as those nazi exploitation movies go. It's got the typical stuff (lots of nudity, some torture, mad doctor) combined with what was mentioned in the spoiler above. Don't really remember much else, I think there was a love story thrown in there as well, hah.

Saw this recently. It wasn't that good.

The battle sequences were beyond chesse, and stupidy. It wasn't even funny.

Alot of the tortures scenes came off very cheap and dumb.

Really not much in this weak Nazi Movie.

I have this as well. Been awhile since I watched it, but I do remember a big hairy monster type of guy who raped women.

Speaking of nazixploitation, I watched "Deported Women of the SS" last night. Usually these types of films have some sort of plot, but this movie had absolutely none! LOL Nothing but nudity left and right. Felt more like a W.I.P. movie than anything else.

Brentwood released a double feature dvd some time back that included "Deported Women of the SS" with "Escape from Women's Prison." You can find this disc for only a few $ at various online stores (I think I got it from DDD). Transfers are from VHS copies.

Thanks for the tips. The package has all the makings of a great impulse buy. :D

SS Hell Camp has a lot of stock footage and a very nice scene where a big red swastika statue reflects the cameraman, which is a perfect example of the level of technical quality on display :)

That shot was classic. I actually just watched this movie again last weekend. I find the flick very entertaining, but the nastiness is somewhat softened by the cheese. Love the part where the Nazis machine gun that old lady's doll...I mean baby.:fire: :p

When I first bought this DVD and put it on, I was bored to tears. I couldn't believe that such a notorious film could be this bad. It hurts.

Then I watched it again, and having got over the shot of how bad it was, I began to enjoy it. For the third time, I watched it with a couple of friends and some beer, and we had a blast. The fourth time tipped me over the edge, and now I count myself as a huge fan.

Itr's actually two films welded together - the name of the other film escapes my mind at the moment, but be aware that the war sequences are from another film altogether. The acting is terrible, the FX terrible - but it's QUALITY cheese. You won't be shocked by the content, it's just funny.

    Man, I love this film.

I didn't really like this one at all, but dwatts' comments are making me want to check it out again to see if my opinion changes.

Ryan - the movie is mental. Crazy. Clearly put together by complete lunatics. It fails in every regard. At first you're stunned by it's incompetance, even in a sub-genre that didn't exactly generate "classics".

But seriously, it's verging on the Plan 9 From Outer Space for quality if you're in the right frame of mind.
