    Holy shit!

Well, it better be an Italian production, done in proper Fulci style :D

Lol. A bunch of Italian caskets washing up on a tropical vacation resort would be classic spaghetti horror. I can picture a scene where a little kid is poking a corpse washed up on the beach, music swells, is the zombie going to eat the kid? Then a hand grabs the kid, but it's the mother admonishing the child. As she drags the kid away berating him, the corpse twitches... :D

New Orleans could be grounds for a similar story. Isn't that the reasoning behind their whole above-ground cemeteries?

Kid snaps off a dried, bony hand to take home as a souvenir. Disgruntled shambling corpse shows up later that night to reclaim its lost appendage, and snaps the kid's hand off in retribution.

Italian coffins on the beach is a premise is so flexible it could go Romero, Gothic ghost story, or EC Comics.

In my version, the kid would have been attacked by the corpse. And when the mother later finds him, sitting in the water, he slowly turns around, and we see that his face have been torn off, and then he begins to feast on his mothers flesh.
In the background, we see more coffins wash up on shore, and the corpse slowly walking towards the town.
Add some Fabio Frizzi music to that.

Yeah that's definitely the start of a good horror movie with the dead showing up on shore and around a small town.
