Does anybody know if the Red Cross version goes for significantly more than the redux version? I'm thinking of selling mine but can't find how much it would go for. Amazon and eBay aren't much help.

I'd be surprised if you got that much for it this time. The summer oop dvd market was dry as a desert this year.

I would think that first "red cross" version with the Best Buy bonus disc included would top them all in terms of $ value.

I'm selling it because I never watch the movies. I'd rather just make a profit off it and lighten my load.

walkingdude, where did you sell your's?

I actually sold it to a regular buyer on ebay.Instead of listing it I just checked the going rate and sold it to him for a similar price.Like Katatonia said, the bigger money would be for the set including the forth disc included. It should be worth $40-$50 though.

The set I sold did not include the extra disc.

I've got this version too and even though I'm unloading a lot of DVDs right now, I don't think I could ever part with this one.

ditto. I have the 4 disc version which I bought for a mere $12 on eBay. I guess the guy who sold it didn't know what he had!

LOL I love idiot sellers on eBay. Bought the novelizations of Friday the 13th Part 2 and 3 off some seller for $40, LOL $20 a book. Haha what an idiot. Then some dude sold me a MINT copy of the novelization for part 1 for $25 and a copy of Friday the 13th, Part 3 - 3D (the Avallone one) for $15. Got the novelization of Part 6 for only $12. And all these editions are FLAWLESS. Completely mint, no spine creases, NOTHING (except for the Avallone version of Part 3). God, some sellers are morons. But they made me happy!

But really, it's a good idea to check out places to see how much stuff is worth before you sell it. Fistfuck, I'd imagine you could get upwards of $50-60 for that boxset, since it includes the 4th disc.

I have bought the boxset for next to nothing off of Ebay, $20 maybe? Mine isn't the red cross version though, but it does include the 4th disc, which is all that matters to me, a shitty as the 4th disc is.

I read that! Way back when i was knee high to a grasshopper and my tyranical parents wouldn't let their 8 year old watch Friday the 13th, i fooled them all by taking the book out of the library! it was my first friday experience. ahhh the memories.

  16. i have the best buy bonus disc red cross version but i accidentally ripped the box opening it up in my car in the parking lot of Best Buy cuz i was so damn excited to get it. so now it's worthless. thats what years of pent up OOPness'll do to ya.
