I like the lettering for the title but overall the poster isn't anything special. Needs to be fun like all of the other SC releases.

I was just checking the release date on this again (the latest date i've heard is nov 4th) and noticed that Isaac Hayes is in this. I suppose I had looked over that little detail till now. Is this the last film he ever did? Its not even listed on his website http://www.isaachayes.com/ though that could be out of date.
I'm almost convinced the real reason this got shelfed is cause it sucks? I've watched the trailer a dozen times & I like this movie less and less. The movie looks so damn terrible IMO. Anyway yeah I know it's all be said before. Still I hope I can rent this no way I'm buying this mess.
Ya all those internet rumors about actors not getting paid, CGi not up to par etc. Please gimme a break what a crock on shit. Real truth is the movie was shelfed cause it sucks. I recall hearing a rumor that Felissa Rose was furious at her screen time in the film. So who knows what happened the film has a huge cloud of mystery hanging over it. :bs:

This movie is HORRIBLE. I just watched it last night and I am pissed I wasted time on it. I am a HUGE fan of the original, and enjoy #2 & #3 for campy, nostalgic reasons. This new installment is a WASTE of time. The main kid is probably one of the most annoying characters ever. I am sad this turned out to be as bad as it is. Now I hear another chapter in this saga is in the works, please help them before they KILL the series.
Ain't it cool has a pretty positive review up. Sounds promising, and the author hated HATCHET and BEHIND THE MASK for not living down to '80s slasher cinema appeal.
