Just saw this on Facebook so I'm not sure how true it is but if so this is pretty exciting! Here's hoping it's more in line with the games and that they have a decent budget to bring some of the crazy monsters to life.
Holy shit! Netflix usually does a great job with their series, and puts a lot of money into them. Compared to the first movie, this at least seems to be set in a gothic house. Hope they stick to horror, and only have smaller bursts of action, like the original game. This, Strange Things 2 and Castlevania, in the same year? Netflix is getting more exciting than theatrical releases. Now if they could only resurrect Tales from the Crypt, Twilight Zone and Outer Limits as well
Hopefully it's decent and doesn't become a semi-retarded soap opera mess that is The Walking Dead. It's Netflix so I have faith.
Hopefully a trailer isn't too far away so we can get an idea on what they're going for and the angle they'll take. Like Steel76 mentioned, the gothic looking house in the poster is a pretty promising start.
We finally have a trailer for this one. Though it doesn't look to follow any of the games I'd be lying if I said it didn't look good. I'm sure it can't be worse than the last movie.
There's not much to chew on as it's mostly all really quick snippets. I think it's a bit too soon to put this one in the bin just yet. I just watched it again and I'm seeing a lot I like. The lab stuff looks cool as I always enjoy seeing things go awry and how these mutations begin. There's a short second of a chick revving a chainsaw which will hopefully mean a fun battle. I saw lickers, the zombie dogs and possibly Wesker. Production value looks great. I really hope this is a winner.
That's fair. The thing is my wife loves anything Resident Evil, so if I thought it looked the biggest piece of shit ever landed, she would still make me watch it with her! So I'm seeing it no matter what.
