Every bit of news I hear about this movie gets me a little more stoked on it. From casting to plot to who's behind the lense to who's making decisions about how Fox's money gets spent, all very promising. A Predator film ABSOLUTELY needs to be "Rated R for scenes of extreme gore / violence and crude language" or it just ain't a Predator film. And was that a goddamn handheld mini-gun (a la Old Painless) I saw in the sneak??? YES! If they utilize the amazing Alan Silvestri score from the first film I'll be there for the midnight showing July 8th.
So I asked Fox, do we even have the rights to be able to use that music? They [said], “Oh yeah, you can use his original score, we can give you the original charts if you want to re-chart them and write something using references of it, here’s the full thing.” So we’ll probably incorporate some of that. At the right time, because you don’t want to overuse it. - Robert Rodriguez Well that answers that
It's pretty hard to fuck up a Predator movie, but Anderson somehow did it, so here's hoping this turns out great like the first two.

Looks good, gonna see it for sure. I kinda wished the trailer had shown more though, its like 90% of what we've already seen in the sneak-peek.
Yeah I am really surprised to see how good this movie looks. Definitely reminds me of the first and best film in the series. Can't wait!
Looks great. I have high hopes for this movie. I think it will bring back the Predator series from the brink of death after AvP and AvP2 sullied its name.
Not only that, but composer John Debney did post this on his Twitter: "Nothing compares to Alan's score for Predator. Period...Fans won't be dissapointed...."
