Massimo Dallamano's La polizie Chiede Aiuto/What Have They Done To Your Daughters will be released next week (August 10th) by Koch Media Germany.

    PAL
    87 minutes
    Anamorphic 2.35:1
Italian,English and German audio (though the Italian only viewable with German subs)
    8 page booklet

    (source:Kultvideo)

Yet another movie to add to the ever growing collection.
But Xploited also lists Koch's releases so I'll probably wait for that.

Already have it - it was released in the UK by Salvation. Will wait to see screen captures before considering this one.

For those that don't have it - it's excellent.

This one could be slightly better.Koch already had some nice releases.
I asked a fellow Eurohorror geek to make a comparison when he gets it.

I haven't seen this movie yet but it isn't really a Giallo right?
Ofcourse depends on what you regard as "Giallo" in the first place.
This would be more of a Giallo-hybrid.Part Giallo, part police thriller?
Anyway, since Solange is one of my alltime favorite Gialli, this will find its way into my collection too.

    OT:How are Dallamano's Spaghetti Westerns?

Oh, it's a giallo I think. I want the third film in the series more than this :(

Not a western fan myself, can't comment on Dallomano's efforts.

I have a cheap quality VHS copy of this movie and would love to upgrade. Thanks for the heads up on the DVD.

  9. I got the Koch DVD last week.

Picture quality is simply amazing. I doubt it could get any better. And it's uncut, too. The UK DVD is cut by a few frames.

This one feels more like a "crime" movie than a giallo to me... Not as good as Solange in my opinion but it does have its moments... It's got the same sleazy vibe Solange has...
If you mean music score... It's by Stelvio Cipriani (Bay of Blood) and it sounds very similar to the one he made for Mario Bava's "Rabid Dogs"...

    It's available at Xploited now.
I already have ordered alot last weekend so this one has to wait till next time.
Who has the rights for R1 for this one?Media Blasters?
IIRC both releases we had were R2.

Do you know what is missing? This is the first time I heard about this and the BBFC says "no cuts", so Salvation used already cut master?

Those screenshots look so much better, I would buy the Koch release anyway and get rid of the UK DVD.

Salvation used better cover art IMO but that's a minor thing.

I do own the DVD but not for long. The other side of the cover (the one I didn't use in my post last time) is even uglier than the Koch cover. I don't understand why Salvation used it as 1st choise.
