I got mine in. It is a very informative documentary with 2 hours dedicated to the first film, 30 minutes to the second film and 20 minute to the third. The O'Bannon interview runs 25 minutes. The background music is a little annoying (pizzacado slapstick comedy music) but the comicbook style transitions are nice and the content is amazing. There are a a lot of straight talk in this, and folks are called out every now and then. Order now!
I got mine Friday which surprised me as it was a few days early. I enjoyed it a lot. Along with the The Complete History of The Return of the Living Dead book, it is a good time to be a fan of the series. I hope the signed poster arrives soon.
In case anyone is in the area the original RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD plays mid week at the Colony Theater in Raleigh N.C. The Colony has a monthly horror screening ,usually gets a good turnout.Always 35mm prints too.I was just there last week for a double bill of DEEP RED and PEICES. The new doc sounds good,I may have to get this.
Just ordered it from Barnesandnoble.com. I found a 7% off coupon online and with my membership I get free 2nd day shipping. With tax and all, under $11!!!
Dude, you could have used a 15% off coupon! :eek2: I ordered it last night for under $10 with one. Bookmark this thread for any current B&N coupons. It's out of stock though.
Thanks for the tip, Kat. Ironically I go to that site all the time and didn't think about it. Whenever I order from BN.com, I search for a code and find something. It would have been nice to save another $.80 but at least I got the order in while it still showed in stock. Hopefully I'll get it this week. BN.com is great for ordering books and sometimes movies. Their online prices for books are great, you can always find a coupon code and if you have the membership (we do because one is right by our house and we sometimes need a book for the kids quick!), you get free 2nd day shipping. On top of that, they take Paypal, and I have my Ebay funds in there!!
I pre-ordered mine on the 6th (I have a membership) and mine hasn't shipped yet (even though it says expected ship date October 18th). So even if it showed "in-stock", it is most likely on backorder. It wouldn't make sense for them to ship out yours, then ignore the pre-orders.
Thanks a bunch for the heads-up on this guys! I didn't know it existed till I just saw this thread. Just ordered my copy from amazon.ca (so I can get the free shipping) along with the Night of the Creeps blu ray, now I can retire my dvd copy.
