Mondo Digital reviews The Howl of the Devil: The Howl of the Devil (mondo-digital.com)
When these guys have their sales, (I'm guessing the next one is Halloween) what the basic discount? If a Blu is $20 now what is it during their sales and is it on everything except pre-orders?
I'm looking to get stuff like Panic Beats, Blood Spattered Bride and BloodLust which you can get for like $50 shipped from DeepDiscount or $66 right now from Mondo's site.

I almost forgot that today was the day to order Frenchman's Garden! Just kind of occurred to me as I was looking at my credit card statement for the month. Ordered!
I did forget until I jumped on Horrordvds. The prices keep going up. Over $32 each after shipping and tax.
That's cheap (compared to what I have to pay)! For us in Canada who have to pay extra in shipping and exchange rate these work out to about $44 each.
Back to my sale question - can anyone tell me how much they typically knock their Blu’s down to?
$31.50 for me. I don’t pay sales tax.
I don't believe they lower their blu-rays below the $20.00 price point. Typically you can get them a little cheaper during Deep Discount sales as well as Amazon if you keep an eye out.
The special editions will sell out at full price well before any sales take place.
Both of the BDs that I got from the sale back in October are $20 now on the site but I got one for $14 and the other for $15. The cheaper one (A Lizard in a Woman’s Skin) was a bit older than the $15 one (The Inheritors).

That's the first time I've received the first numbers, but I had a feeling it went in fast this time around.
That’s amazing. See, if I owned a company like Mondo Bizarro I would keep all of the #1s as my own personal copies.
That is what Tim League (founder of the Alamo Draft House theaters) did. He kept low number copies of the posters they produced. He made a killing when he sold a huge amount of them last December.
***NEW TITLE ANNOUNCEMENT***
Coming next year from Mondo Macabro!
A new 4K restoration of Rinse Dream’s “DR. CALIGARI” (1989) debuts at Fantasia International Film Festival
In 1989, Stephen Sayadian, aka Rinse Dream, released one of the most iconic and fantastical works in American exploitation cinema. For the first time since its release, thanks to a new restoration, it will finally find its audience, and retroactively be appreciated as the underground masterpiece that it is. Bizarre, stunning, goofy and unsettling, DR. CALIGARI embraces the avant-garde in its exquisite and hilarious exploitation of America’s repressed libido. As the film’s title might suggest, the film is a loose remake of the German Expressionist classic, following Mrs. Van Houten, a woman who seems to be losing touch with reality, and her treatment under Dr. Caligari, who diagnoses her with a “disease of the libido”. Far more than just narratively similar, Sayadian's background in set design and art keeps with the silent classic's highly stylized design, updated with the bright, disorienting commercialism of 1980s Americana. DR. CALIGARI might be one of the American cinema's most incisive and unique portraits of national excess ever to grace the screen.
Above all else, though, the film has a biting and over-the-top sense of humour. The dialogue is ripe with delicious one-liners (“My feelings are like filthy prayers I want to scream into your face”) and incredible visual gags. In just the first few minutes of the film, we get the first visual joke as SMPTE colour bars slowly peel away to reveal a naked woman lounging on a couch. Aware that some omniscient force is exposing her nudism, she tries to hide behind the disappearing bars. In rare exploitation form, DR. CALIGARI maintains its wild and intoxicating energy throughout, pulling the audience deep into its erotic nightmare world, in an experience not soon to be forgotten. – Justine Smith
