    1.78 to 1.85 isn't going to be noticable to the naked eye, and most coverst hat say 1.85 are really 1.78 anyway. I wouldn't even worry about it if it is changed.

    I don't have a link to post, but I remember reading in one of the forums (probably DVDTalk or blu-ray.com) a user commenting that the Last House blu-ray has slightly more information on the left and right side than the original DVD.

    I'm not going to compare the two discs to confirm this. But I do recall reading it somewhere.

    Matt, Yeah they've carried most of the exclusives in the past. I didn't have the entire list when I was there yesterday, but Heavy Metal was in stock and they had had Last House in the computer, but none in stock. Didn't check on any others.

    Here in Montreal they only have the Heavy Metal Blu-ray ($14.99). :(

    I want Poltergeist II and the original LHotL.

    So, I went back up to Best Buy today to use a coupon for Alice in Wonderland Blu-ray for $10 off.

    They had the LHOTL Blu-ray today...and had it yesterday despite what they assured me. Best Buy employees at this store are the most incompetent idiots imaginable. :gay:

    Apocalypse Now 2 disc $12.99

    along with Enter The Void and Santa Sangre, this is a great week for Blu-Ray.

    Anyone having trouble working the features? Some work, but most don't. When I hit enter (or play for that matter) it stops the disc. The movie however plays fine as does the extras that actually work

    So, I'm going to be "that guy" that posts this on several different discussion sites. Sorry.

    Several of the special features on my LHOTL Blu-ray do not display full-screen. Instead they only take up about 1/5 of the screen in the upper left corner. Is anyone else experiencing this?

    I've had that happen on other BDs. An SD card kind of made one of them better, but didn't affect the other one. Buying a newe Sony player cleared it all up though.

    Yeah it really sucks that in Canada we don't have those Best Buy exclusives.And we can't even order through bestbuy.com.The only way to get those,is to wait a couple of days for someone to put them on ebay.I want LHOTL and Poltergeist 2!!!:mad:

    i dug out my old last house dvd and compared it to the blu ray. it really is a decent transfer, the colors look much more vivid than the dvd's, and there's more information on the left and right sides of the image. take a look. the top pictures are from the blu and the bottom the dvd.

    nope the top is from the blu ray. notice the texture of mari's red shirt. you can't even make out the pattern of it on the dvd

    Thanks for posting the comparisons Paul. :) By the way, what method do you use to go about grabbing screenshots from Blu-rays?

    I'm planning on watching the Blu-ray later tonight!
