Amityville II was the rare one that I genuinely liked. Loved, even.

Last Exorcism was extremely boring until the last 5 minutes.

I never thought it was great, but compared to The Devil Inside I thought it was a good time waster.

The only thing entertaining about the film was the fact that Dagmar Hedrich was willing to be naked through most of her performance. The film was so slow that even at only 79 minutes it seemed to last forever. Also what kind of ending was that? It seems like the producers ran out of money so they threw together a 10 second ridiculous ending and said to hell with it.

I didn't find it slow. I thought the story grinded when they hit the rehab center but it's still hilarious and well shot. Many cool scenes. Her cat eyes were weird. Not the greatest film, true, but nowhere near the worst ever made.

I never said it was the worst ever made. My initial comment was that I found it surprising that someone had it on their top favorite list. I watched the film about two months ago and gave it a 3 out of 10. Amazon is still selling the limited pressing (only 500) for cheap and the film is still available so there just isn't much interest in the title.

Hello Mary Lou: Prom Night 2 is a decent possession film.

I place exorcism movies alongside killer shark movies as failed horror sub genres. There are a ton of them, but none of them come even remotely close to the original films that stated it all.

Wow, the three pack with Journey into Fear and Terror Express would have been perfect for me if I hadn't picked up Terror Express with Redneck (a pairing I was mediocre on):

So I went for the two pack with Revenge of the Bushido Blade:

And I threw in the OOP Zombie Nightmare. What the hell, it's also been in the back of my mind to get it and the price is reasonable so I snatched that up too. I liked Katrina doing hosting duties and that probably won't make it to other releases.

Overall I agree yet continue to watch movies from both genres. I had the Magdalena DVD years ago and sold it after one viewing. The artwork for the blu-ray is one of the common ones. Here are a few examples.
