What?!?! This is way sad... I was just thinking about his role in Prom Night. He was an immensely talented funny man and he could also pull off serious roles. RIP Mr. Nielsen

I remember some red rock cider ads as well in the 90s I have fond memories of. But when I think of the 90s Naked Gun films come to mind.
I think for his 60s/70s he seemed very healthy person and going strong.

I was actually looking for a thread on his death in off topic and other movies, because my memories of him are from police squad and naked gun films. Creepshow and planet I need to rewatch sometime.

Red Rock Cider (Leslie Nielsen) advert 1990

I always wanted to drink a red rock cider when I grew up after watching this advert, I was only 10 at the time, but the advertising worked, I waited until I was older and they don't sell it in the UK.

IT'S RED ROCK LESS GASEY AND NOT LIKE ANY OTHER CIDER!

RED ROCK CIDER, IT'S NOT RED! AND THERE'S NO ROCKS IN IT!

A toast to Leslie Nielsen in the forum and all drinks are Red Rock on the tab!

Rest in peace and thanks for the laughs man

just picked up Airplane! and The Naked Gun trilogy. Gonna watch Airplane! tonight in his honor. The wife's never seen it, so I feel like its a good time to pass on the legacy.

    Very sad news indeed.

I just watched The Naked Gun the other night again for about the 100th time and its still hilarious, along with the others and ofcourse Airplane. I thought he was great in Creepshow aswell.

    Rest In Peace Leslie.
