I grabbed mine at a Zellers here in Brampton. they had the centennial editions of it, sabrina, roman holiday, breakfast at tiffany's, and to catch a thief all for 9.99 each. i resisted picking up to catch a thief since im waiting for it to come out on blu before i pick it up for a third time. same with chinatown (which wasn't there, but its a new centennial release that i've held off on).

    Body Double
    Femme Fatale

Been wanting to see Body Double forever, really can't see what all the fuss and controversy was about. Good film though.
FF was pretty decent as well.
    Both were blind buys.

    The Swarm.

The campy killer bee mess with an all-star 70s cast. I must've just bought one of the very last DVDs. All of the online sites I buy from now have it listed as discontinued. A lot of Warner discs seem to be out of print all of a sudden.

 It sold out pretty fast. I checked out within a minute of the deal being active, and already 12% or so were gone.

Is this flick any good? I keep looking at it in stores, but that little voice of doubt keeps saying "it's low budget shit Dave, don't do it" and winning. Anything it compares to?

I did pick up Inglourious Basterds Blu-ray and love it. The Cat People theme song part seemed much cooler to me in the theater though, I thought there was more action/set-up while that played, not just lipstick applying! QT does not own that song like I thought after the first viewing (like how he owns Stuck in the Middle and Son of a Preacher Man), but it's great to hear it in full surround nonetheless.

It's okay, but gets rather dumb at times. If you like Women in Prison flicks, you'll probably enjoy it. It's worth a rental, but I probably wouldn't buy it.
