For whatever reason I just had to roll the dice on this one from SRS:



Hopefully it will be fun so let's see... I love how it's a BD-R but “This release is limited to 200 units max on professionally run BD-R’s, and all sales will cease by early Jan. 2022.” because that makes no sense. It's a BD-R so why can't they just keep burning them for whoever wants one?!?! Isn't that the one good thing about BD-R, you can just burn them at will?

Apparently there is a difference between MOD and BD-r you burn-at-home but these days they all seem pretty stable. I haven't looked much into anymore as it seems pretty settled that they consistently work and we ain't going back. So I guess it's just SRS burning it out of the office after 200? Who knows.

Sister Krampus is co-directed by Mark Polonia, of thee notorious Polonia Brothers, and his heir apparent Anthony. Mark also just released Hell on the Shelf which is a parody of Elf on the Shelf. I don't much like other SRS releases but the Polonia's consistently make the worst films yet never fell into the self parody trap that other terrible directors inevitable seem to. The Polonia's continued to make SOV movies in a bubble. And now Anthony has picked up the mantle.

I've been debating buying it. Up till now I've picked up everything by the Polonia Brothers, and later just Mark's after his brother John died, but honestly I've come to the point where I don't even watch them any more. These still press my Holiday Horror/Kramps/Killer Doll buttons so I'm tempted. So, I watched Virus Shark now and I can confirm it's the same old Polonia so I'll be buying this too.
