The Piranha BD you have, do you have to have a 3-D BD player or is it the reb/blue glasses?
just picked up Piranha on DVD
Likewise, plus a $5.99 copy of Hot Tub Time Machine on DVD thanks to an HMV promotion.
Piranha 2010 BD
Captivity unrated dvd ($2.50 at Wal-Mart)
All the copies of Piranha BD and DVD are 2D only from what I saw today (region 1, USA). They had 3D-Blu-ray as well, but with less features (it said 2D and 3D on back though).
Trust me, I saw this in the theater and it was retro-fitted for 3D, only a couple of gags popped off the screen. There was some depth, but I feel 2D is going be just fine, less distracting with no glasses to mess with the brightness and colors either.
This makes 3 flicks from the last year that were retro-fitted 3D in theaters, then didn't even bother with any form of 3D on BD or DVD, but now have early 3D-BD releases.
This, Clash of the Titans and Alice in Wonderland.
i actually have the 2D version only but yes u do have to have a 3D blu-ray player/3D tv to play the 3D version i think the 2D version is on the 3D blu-ray disc also but i dont think the disc will even play unless u have a 3D blu-ray player not sure
yea they are doin away phasing out the old red/blu releases here is a movie coming out mar 29th on blu-ray and dvd and it's coming with the traditional glasses it is called Scar 3D here's a link to it although most reviews i have seen says its a crap movie http://www.bloody-disgusting.com/news/22972/
