I remember seeing the trailer for "up the creek" at the movie before Friday the 13th the final chapter. and the trailer had nudity in it...
Kino seems to be hung up on creaky old movies since 90% of their latest announcements have been for pre-1970 films. And before anyone starts calling me names, I have over 1,600 Blu-rays, many of which are "old" films. I don't care about stuff like movies being in Black & White or whether or not they were made in 1930 or 1990 - a great story well told is a great story well told - but let's have some love for more contemporary titles. I'd love to see titles like THE EARTHLING, THE DAY AFTER, OPEN HOUSE, ALIEN PREDATOR, THE HEAVENLY KID and FLORIDA STRAITS hit BD.
Just wanted to say how impressed I am with Kino's replacement program for Madhouse. I filled out a brief online form, was promised an update, and got an email shipping confirmation for the replacement disc on Thursday. It doesn't sound like I even have to send the faulty disc back. Well done, Kino Lorber!
Same here, got the email about the replacement being shipped on Thursday. This was a hell of a lot easier than trying to find the "corrected" version in the retail sector, whenever that comes out.
Amen! And great not to have to wait forever for the company to send out a return envelope, then wait for me to return the disc. This is how it should be when you buy a faulty product.

I received mine safe and sound yesterday, and the audio sync issue appears to be corrected. It comes in a cardboard disc mailer, with a paper sleeve protecting the disc inside. Kudos Kino! I didn't even have to bother with the hassle of returning the original disc... I wish ALL studios would handle disc replacement programs this well.
I just put in yesterday for the replacement disc. So, they're not asking for any proof of receipt or anything?

I thought the whole process was a little odd, too. I've received very little communication from them, and nothing that I've received from them has my address associated with it. Crossing my fingers, hoping that it actually arrives....
No, They don't ask for anything accept your address. I planned on getting it anyway and I didn't want to forget about it so I requested one and got one no problem. I wish all replacement discs were this easy, Very happy with Kino, One of my favorite new companies.
Can't wait for Highway to Hell (1991), late 2015/early 2016, anyone else a fan of this low budget fun flick?
Yeah, I'm a fan and looking forward to it. There was a discussion on here when the Blu-ray was announced, but looks like it got wiped out during the forum outage.
There are several films with similar titles - is this the Wes Craven flick? Isn't there also an 80's-era TV movie with the same title?
