Anyone else mildly curious about this?

My expectations are pretty damn low but at least they're trying. Definitely has a Ten Little Indians/April Fool's Day feel about it. I'll be checking it out.

I will definitely check this out if they put in on ondemand. I know I won't keep up with the weekly live viewings, and shamefully I don't have the DVR box with my cable. I already pay WAY more than enough with my HDbox, package deal with the cable/HBO/Showtime and other stuff I don't watch, phone, and internet to Comcast each month....and that's not even counting the hockey package I order every yearand the PPV's I somehow cannot stop ordering even though I can find them for free (In shitty quality with lagging, but still free) over the internet of UFC's and some boxing. Somehow I put my foot down on the thing that would probably be more useful than all of the others!

I'll probably take the "DVR a few episodes and then have a mini-marathon" route. It looks like it could be a cool show, and seems just different enough to warrant taking a gander at it. Here's hoping for the best!

They say that if this rates well next year they will do a ''second season" with another cast, location and plotline.Sort of a rotatings series with different murder scenarios providing the arc each go around.

So? What's everybody's take of this series.

I think its pretty dam good for a horror tv series. Great character development and I dig the local/scenery. The death set ups are good. Some "saw it coming" & others not so obvious. Surprised on how much is showed on regular CBS tv. You have to check it out just a least once.

    2 episodes & 5 deaths so far.

    - guy's lower half ripped off. (was walking on a foot bridge, fell through part way, got stuck, an "something" tore his lower half off. The camera showed the missing bottom)
    - hanging
    - person burned alive (the visual was quite good, no cgi, just a stuntperson doing a burn stunt)
    - decapitation (head rolling included)
    - death by boat propeller (he was tied up underneath the boat w/ scuba gear alive & when the boat started he got sucked into the propeller)

Yeah I am glad it is not a generic post Sceam/The O.C. show with knife stabbings as deaths. This is genuine slasher fun that has certainly been shown to be better than what I thought it would be. Chloe is so sweet, haha.

Love it so far.....more gore than the Prom Night remake, that's for sure! Also great scenery and some atmosphere, along with solid acting.

I Love this New Show!! Thanks to my friend, Shane, for telling me about it!! It's alot of fun and it has a Great Slasher/Mystery Vibe going on!! It is like a Horror/Soap, so I love it!! Plus the Deaths are pretty brutal for a TV Series, Death by Boat Motor, Head getting chopped off, and being burned alive!! It has a Great April Fools Day feel to it!!

I checked out the first episode and I got to say so far so lame. It's like an episode of Seventh Heaven having a mystery night. Terrible "Murder She Wrote" dialogue, Cliché made for TV moments galore and not a likable character in the bunch. I have the second one recorded so maybe I'll give it one more chance but it doesn't look good

I saw the next two episodes last night. They did step it up compared to the opener. It's getting better.

Looks like it will be getting axed due to poor ratings. They are moving it to Sat.'s to let it finish out, since all the episodes have already been shot, but doesn't look like it will be coming back for a second season. Too bad, I haven't seen an episode, but it sounded really cool, and different from all the reality crap out there.

As long as they let it finish out. I'm not buying a DVD of it to see the ending. I'll bootleg it or download it first, since I feel that would be stealing from the consumer to make them buy a DVD set to see the conclusion! So, I'd steal back!! :D
