I think you're talking about an authorization charge on your credit/debit card?

That always happens immediately when you place an order at DD. It'll clear within a few days or so, unless they finalize the charge amount when shipping the items.

If you think that's bad, don't pre-order stuff from Shout Factory way in advance. They'll authorize your credit/debit card once every single month until it finally ships.

good to know I wasn't crazy for thinking the image looked better than the universal.

That's awesome, one more solid reason to double dip on this one.

I wonder why Shout doesn't offer optional subtitles though? It doesn't seem like it would be all that difficult to simply transfer them over from the Universal Blu-ray.

cool, just hope that big ass white spec was removed when alice gets stabbed in the beginning... it really distracts the scene... and its big too.

not for nothing, but Ive completely written off Liebman's reviews on catalog titles...if it doesn't look like a Pixar film or TRANSFORMERS, he judges the video by some insane standard that completely misrepresents the actual presentation itself.

Ill wait for a review from someone else

Take no notice of that reviewer, He is harsh in all of his reviews. His expectations are ridiculous. He has a reputation for :bs:

I think I'd rather read a review from someone who actually likes the film. Also, I know those screengrabs won't usually represent how the film looks in your home theater, but they look just fine to me.

The fact that this film is getting the special edition treatment at all is good enough for me. Can't wait to pick this one up.

Yes! My copies of HII & HIII arrived today! Working my way through the bonus features on II now, the doc is pretty impressive.

Only made it through two thirds of HIII last night but I thought it looked pretty great. Very crisp, clean and detailed for what it's worth. HII was cleaner than the uni disc too, didn't notice any white specks. Watched on a 46" Sony Bravia.
