Yeah pretty great and shocking news. I wasn't expecting this.
They seem to be trying to give fans some great incentives to see this film. I still don't understand all the hate I read online though. It seems people just want to moan about everything and nothing.
Pretty soon, I think it's going to be made clear that a lot of the online vocal negativity is written by a select few--and those few are mostly kids. This isn't isolated to horror films, either. When we all have to register under real names with real credit cards to get online (or whatever is next, because this stage of Internet is finite), I bet we'll see this anonymous negativity die down.
I hope you're right. But I know a fair few people my own age (late 30s) who have nothing but negative thoughts on most new movies :/
What you see in threads are the same few people who bitch back and forth ad nauseam. The vast majority are either sated or just plain ambivalent.
I love the guy on Blu-ray.com who bitched at Severin so aggressively that they just canceled his order. LOL. I think I'll order an extra shot glass next time and mail it back addressed to Jason with my compliments.
I think that's a fan poster that has been floating around for a while. I don't believe there is any official poster yet.
Regardless, they should license that one for use because it is fan-fucking-tastic! Probably better than anything marketing will come up with.
I read this article and it gave me a bad feeling.
I hope this doesn't turn out like that Friday the 13th remake. On another note, I think the Killer Cut of the Friday the 13th remake is on demand. They call it an extended edition or something and it's longer. So I guess I'm finally going to get the chance to see that. I'll probably watch it in the coming weeks.
that poster is terrible, fan art or not. wow.
I totally agree. Talk about art with the wrong vibe.
Yeah it looks fan made just at a glance. I'm not a fan of it either.
WTF??? I can't with that 'art'.
Buck up, Mikey!
Halloween 1 and 2 (1981) perfect. anything after is like chasing the dragon!!! can't repeat magic..
They said all they can say.. (money ) money..
It's hard to get a good impression on the new mask without seeing the hair but it's definitely been growing on me.
Was never a fan of II. I'd much rather if they'd of gone the original stand alone route of Halloween then Season of the Witch etc etc.
Used to love II but then I rewatched it recently and it fell flat.
Dig the poster, though.
