This will be an awesome addition to the board. Hopefully, all those who post reviews in the forum section will keep this section busy. Thanks Dave!
I'm hoping this solves lots of problems, instead of creating new ones. Lots of threads about films include a brief review, so I hope this forum is only going to be used for more in-depth reviews, otherwise it might be a problem.
Well, I have a couple of longer "reviews" that I recently used on another site before falling out with the admin. Maybe they're TOO damn long - but on the other hand, maybe they'll just kick off this forum Glad to offer them up here as a starter, anyway.
This is neat, great idea. I'll probably start posting reviews. I'll just use the same thread over and over. Hmm, now what should I review?
Great idea here, I just hope we don't get a bunch of worthless "the disc sucks" reviews. I'll try to chip in, but only if I feel I have something worth saying about a particular dvd. This site rules!
This is a great addition to the forum...thanks Dave. I know alot of people here will be writing their own reviews (some on the same movie). That's ok to me because the more reviews being offered for a movie the better I can decide if it is the movie for me. Dave, please keep us informed with yours and others (Paff, Rhett, Karen etc.) reviews as they are posted on the main page. And so another door has opened...
This is just a fabulos idea. I love reading through the reviews and finding out about movies that I have been unsure about, that I now MUST HAVE!
Agreed, great addition and is turning out even better than I had hoped! It has changed the whole dynamic of the forum.
I'm gonna TRY writing a review. You guys are gonna have to bare with me, I've never reviewed anything before, except verbally. I don't know what to review so if you guys have any suggestions from my collection than feel free to say.
Chopper Chicks in Zombie Town is about the only one of those I haven't seen. I have a feeling though it would be really shitty.
I've got an urge to do a review or two also, but its going to be a while until I can find something to watch that has inspired me to be more creative.
I think I'll be doing the SPAGHETTI WESTERN COLLECTION, as no one seems to have talked much about the actual films. It'll be a while though. Who knows.
I have Django when it was released as a 2-disc from Anchor Bay (but I have no idea where the fuck it is! ) My favorite western.
Andrew, I would like to know what you think of the spaghetti western collection. I'm not a big fan of westerns so I would like to know what another non-western fan thinks of it. Adrian
McChrist - what's on the second disc? The DJANGO in here says it's "restored and remastered" so I'm guessing it has better A/V quality and maybe an extra scene or two, but did they take out a lot of extras?
DJANGO STRIKES AGAIN! Its like the only true sequel to the original film. It is pretty cool, not great but not at all bad either.
