MacReady, because of his hat...and I personally use the line 'I just want to go up to my shack and get drunk' alot.
Snake is Carpenter's classic badass, but Jack Burton is the most endearing . "What does that mean,''China is here",I don't even know what the hell that means !".
it's been almost 4 years since i filled in this survey.. and it's still Jack Burton.. Big Trouble in Little China remains one of my all time favourites.. but i'd say Snake is definitely creeping up on him
I don't know if he counts, but I voted "other" because my favorite anti-anything character in a Carpenter film is Dalibor (Douglas Arthurs) in Masters of Horror: Cigarette Burns. He certainly makes an impression in that scene.
Jack Burton. Although Snake, Nada, MacReady and Napoleon Wilson are also some of my favorite movie characters of all time.
Hmm, I don't remember which one I voted for, but it's interesting that the three most popular choices are all played by Kurt Russell.
I voted for Napoleon Wilson that guy was just so damn cool. I've been telling my girlfriend for 5 years now that the main theme from Assault is what I want as my theme music. I wish it would play every time I walked in a room. That would be too cool. She hums the song for me every now and then eventhough she things Im a nerd. I guess I am but what the hell. This was a very hard poll to vote in because I love all those choices. Carpenter has made one movie yet that I didn't like.
I Voted for DR. Loomis!! I Love Halloween, I Love Donald Pleasence, and I Love DR. Loomis!! One of the Greatest Horror Characters and One Of The Greatest Actors of All Time!!
Jack Burton!!! As much as I love The Thing I think Jack Burton was Carpenter's best accidental hero. Although Nada probably has the best lines out of any Carpenter movie. "Mama don't like tattle tales!"
