    "VCI Entertainment is at work on a DVD release of Frank De Felitta's 1981 film Dark Night of the Scarecrow!

    Good news for fans eager to see this one on DVD for the first time. Writer J.D. Feigelson informed Horror Yearbook of this good news.

    Charles Durning and Larry Drake star in this film which concerns a wrongfully convicted man, the mob (led by Durning) who kills him and the mysterious scarecrow that later begins to stalk the vigilantes."

    Anyone that wants to see the DVD cover of the Dark Night Of The Scarecrow DVD should go onto the VCI entertainment website and got to the home page here:

    Look at the box in the centre of the page when it comes up.The dvd titles on the box will change for their upcoming releases. Dark night of the scarecrow is one of them.The artwork looks great :)

    Everyone should have a huge problem with this, especially if its newly shot footage. That is a terrible idea.

    Also the new cover is not too big a deal. The vhs cover was way better.
