I just received it today in the mail. Nice looking "embossed" Slipcover... but it is a thinner one this time.
Grey black level, and some details lost in the dark. Check the door on the right. Old http://mondo-digital.com/toolboxold5.jpg New http://mondo-digital.com/toolboxnew5.jpg Check the details in the carpet etc. Old http://mondo-digital.com/toolboxold4.jpg New http://mondo-digital.com/toolboxnew4.jpg Maybe the old transfer is brighter than it should be? But I hate grey black levels. Please let me know how it looks in HDR, if it improves the blacks.

Someone on Blu-ray.com claims Uncle Sam has been announced for UHD. Man, if this is true, BU is scraping the VERY bottom of the well. Forget that crap and release The Prowler, Shock Waves. You know, stuff people WANT?
I'm pretty sure Lustig has recently commented that he wants to do The Prowler, but hasn't been able to locate the negatives. Shock Waves is probably in a similar boat, so to speak.
Yeah from memory that movie was trash. No desire to watch that again. I really hope they can do The Prowler.
He said that originally, but I'm pretty sure that BU posted an update not too long ago that said they located vault materials and it was in the works. I can't find the link where they posted that though.

It's official... https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=517575289735987 ...and this would be one of those films, like Jack Frost, where the lenticular slip gimmick is true to the film's poster and VHS art, but the new art is way better.
