Same. I'd love to grab it but it's so expensive at this point.

Also, I kind of hate that they broke the standard and didn't go with a black case.

?? It's the same type of clear Scanavo case they've used with all of their other UHD/Blu-ray Combos. I didn't figure they'd change it just for this one.

All the 4k's I currently own have a black case with the 4k label up top. Not seen ones like this with it clear and the 4k label printed along the top instead.

I think BU's first few 4K releases used the black cases, but the last 3 UHD releases (Daughters of Darkness, Vigilante, The Final Countdown) have all used the clear Scanavo cases.

Yeah that'd be why, as I don't own those. Not a fan of it. It's mainly the top of the case I don't like the look of. Maybe it doesn't look too bad in person but I was enjoying the consistency of these black cases (small issue I know).

I like them better to be honest. The "Elite" 4K cases are either flimsier or cut-out eco-cases, and half of them lately seem to have "outgassing" from the plastic where there is a grimy film inside the case. And even if you wipe that crud off, if has a tendency to come back from further outgassing.

You must have been unlucky then as I've never experienced any of those things.

It happened to pretty much all of the initial pressing of Kino's The Good, the Bad and the Ugly UHD. The 2nd pressing used a higher quality Elite case that corrected it. There are apparently variants with "volatile organic compounds" that studios can get, and the cheaper variant outgasses badly. I've seen it occur in probably a good 10 or so of the UHD releases I've bought in the last year. Some people might not even notice it, but if you wipe the interior of the case with a cloth... it wipes off. If you check it a few weeks later, the grime is often back from the outgassing of the plastic.

I heard about the issue with Good Bad and the Ugly. Pretty annoying when you have to worry that your case will ruin your disc. Most of my 4ks are Aussie editions and our cases seem pretty good here.

Nope, I wish there were. I'm stuck with amazon. At least not that I know of. Norway had a policy for 35 dollars or less didn't cost anything but one of the mini parties that govern here got rid of that so 25% tax on items (also postage) is what I'm stuck with. Pluss the "fee" ...amazon home delivery is my best option.

This new announcement makes me think they might not have The Prowler like others have suggested.

I'd be surprised if they didn't still have it, I was under the impression that Lustig outright owned the film. It's still listed on their website and their old releases seem to be readily available in retail.

If that's the case then I'm pretty confused why they haven't done a 4k for that one yet, unless they don't have a good enough print. I feel it would be one of their best sellers.

I just watched the movie. I didn't know that it was shot in Ennios real basement. Sadly we only see a small section of the collection.

I really enjoyed the film. Gonna buy the blu-ray.
