Not sure if this has been brought up before. but which do you all think is the best copy of scanners out there? I read a lot of people didn't like the new one that was approved by director. I think that one looks way too dark ..

In my opinion the Criterion is the best. Just watched it the last week and thought it looked great on my steup.

Question: Who is the ultimate authority on who is messing with the original colors?

You can't always judge by screenshots, and Criterion's director approved transfer is excellent.

I remember looking into this when the Criterion release came out and I think I was most impressed by the caps from the Subkultur BD, but I've always been happy enough with my Second Sight BD to not buy another of this title.
