Now that Godzilla is receiving a decent DVD release. I was wondering if anyone has heard about future dvd releases of "War of the Gargantuas" or any of the old King Kong movies like "Godzilla vs. King Kong" or "King Kong Escapes".

There's a nice War of the Gargantuas disc in Japan, no English or subtitled release that I know of yet.

Are you talking about the Japanese version of King Kong vs. Godzilla? Because Goodtimes released the American version a long time back. It is OOP now and hard to find. I sold mine on Ebay a while ago. Kept a DVD-R of it of course!!

I was talking about the Japanese version made in the 60's. By the looks of the pictures on the box, this looks like a fairly recent remake. Is that the case? Because I haven't seen this version. How is it?

Godzilla vs. King Kong is Pan & Scan.

I'd also like to see Frankenstein Conquers the World and Matango get out there with english subtitles. It's too bad Toho is such a pain in the ass about releasing, but they've been burned so much I guess I can't blame them.
