The 3 pack bundle is up for sale again on the Bigcartel site, act fast son, son.
Yay! I was quick enough to grab that bundle this time around. Never heard of The Obsessed One so I hope it's decent.
Mondo Digital reviews Retribution: http://www.mondo-digital.com/retribution.html
Scored the Night Child combo but I had to do a Google search for the Code Red Cartel to get in. Typing in Codereddvd.com didn't work. How odd.
Shakma is terrible. I'm sure we're going to be seeing a lot of those blind buys being sold on eBay for more than $30. And the other 2 films I already have on DVD and are not worth the upgrade. Way too expensive for crap films.
I think it's just the fact that Code Red titles were finally available on SAE and Bill's lackeys hyping Shakma on FB page like it's some cinematic holy grail.
Got my copy of Spotaneous Combustion in the mail today.
Devil's Wedding Night and Night CHild blu's are up on the Big Cartel site right now for those who don't want the whole bundle pack.
And for the international customers, news from Diabolik:
Love to see retribution in an uncut form and on blu, but as I live in the UK I have no fucking chance, I hope a torrent shows up soon, or at lease 88 film or arrow release this in the UK.
Devil's Wedding Night showing sold out already.
Did Bill ever explain the situation with CAVEGIRL anywhere? I can't imagine he sold even 100 copies since it was only up sporadically on his bigcartel site last summer. Did some other company claim rights or something? I've never seen copies show up on amazon or ebay.
Probably has 900 copies just sitting in storage collecting dust. Though I understand he is a one man army this sucks for buyers. He ships very fast despite all his whining and ranting shit he does.
I tried to unload my copy on Amazon but couldn't list it because there's no bar code. I guess I have a real collector's item.
Jeez, talk about steep. I assume that happens a lot with Code Red titles though, as they're so hard to acquire. I'm going to give it a watch but I doubt I'll need to own it by the sounds of it.
Unless the release is packed with features and nice packaging then I usually hold out till the price drops. Limited releases of favourites I get ASAP though.
You could always just unload it on here if you can find the right buyer. Though I hate scalpers I don't think it's fair to have forum members ripping tbemsleves off. Just for the sake of claiming I sold my shit cheap to make someone happy. I have fallen into that trap and have seen my stuff I sold cheap relisted on eBay for $150 a week later. :fuck:
I don't think anything was ever said, although there are some copies that show up on ebay from Chuck Williams (Daniel Roebuck's sidekick) for $25. Here's the most recent, and he'll probably list more.
I ordered it when it first went up, and it's a great release. The documentary and video commentary are worth the price alone. Daniel Roebuck rules.
Did anyone here who purchased This Is A Hijack receive it yet?
Every time I ask about it, I get the blow off. So my guess goes with legal issues. I managed to get one off ebay though, no thanks to him.
I received it earlier today...
BTW, if anybody wants The Obsessed One Blu-ray... I'll sell it still new and sealed. I wanted the other two titles in the bundle, but this one just doesn't interest me much. $23 shipped in the USA, PM if interested.
