Butcher, Baker back up, people.
I Would rather track down Psycho from Texas on VHS then pay close to 60 dollars for one movie the rest of those I have zero intrest
I just got enough money to get the new bundles and of course the store closes down.
Sorry, I'm not making fun of you, but that is hilarious. What a goddamn strange business he runs! Up one minute, down the next.
I think we are long overdue a crazy Bill rant soon.
What is odd is that they had been adding releases quickly, were up to five, then *poof* down again. Stay frosty.
I mean I want the title but Jesus it takes me a day or two to scare up $120. I don't just have it sitting in my paypal for whenever he decides to post something
When I click buy all it says is we are doing maintenance.
It was there for about 12 hours...
Back up again!
Well the bundle with "Deathrow Game Show" and the "Psycho From Texas" 6-pack has been split up and are now only available individually. He must have seen user complaints online and listened to customer suggestions.
Yeah, thankfully! :eek2:
I ordered Deathrow Gameshow & the "Psycho From Texas" 6-pack. I'm vaguely interested in some of the others...but it would certainly help if his shipping prices were more affordable. $7 for 2 DVD's.
I've shipped quite a few DVDs because I sell on Amazon and have never paid more than $4 for up to 2 titles for regular 1st class mail. Personally, I don't mind paying a little more - I know there are extraneous things like mailers and such which cost money, but $7 seems a bit high. Even with Priority Mail, which would be pointless IMO, it still wouldn't come to seven bucks for 2 DVDs (and some USPS supplies, like boxes, are free if you grab them at the PO).
And a problem is that even if somebody wanted to order, say, 10 separate DVD/Blus from the store, they'll pay $32 for shipping. I don't know if that's just the way the online store is set up to add an increment with each title added or whatever, but there's no way that shipping costs would come even remotely near that. I mean...I'd pay like $12 for ten things shipped priority, but $32 is just excessive unless unless it's FedEx overnight or something.
Maybe he refunds partially if shipping costs go way overboard? I don't know..
I think it's some sort of bigcartel software limitation that causes this. If you've got a large order to place with him, you might try emailing him about it to see if there's any wiggle room on the shipping cost. I've read that he might be willing to work out a more reasonable shipping quote for the purchase on larger orders.
I have at least 60 Code Red Movies that I will probably never watch again stuck in a box in my storage room.
I am pretty sure I didn't pay over $9.99 per title. This is when you could buy them at Amazon, Pacific DVD etc. Back then I thought they were overpriced for the quality they were.
It may just me but I sure as hell am not paying his prices now for films that were lucky to be third features at the Drive-In back in the 70s.
I have not bought a thing from him since he stated selling on his own.
Great it doesn't ship to Canada? When did that start?
He hasn't offered shipping to Canada or any international countries in ages now...
If you live outside of the US, you'll have to get somebody in the US to order them for you, or wait and grab them on Ebay or DiabolikDVD if they show up.
The problem with this thinking is that although these may be crap films, Code Red is the only place you can get them. With such limited print runs Bill can pretty much ask whatever he wants. I'd rather pay $25 for LADY STAY DEAD than watch one of the endless bullshit superhero flicks that Hollywood puts out these days.
That sux. I guess it's a long shot but if anyone on here is willing to pick me up a copy of butcher baker. I would be happy to reimburse any costs for the dvd and to ship to canada.
