I ordered Messiah of Evil and Lady Stay Dead immediately after they were available on the Code Red site. Received them both in same package on November 1.

I have always ordered from him and never had a problem but recently all these complaints about orders never being sent is second guessing myself luckily theirs nothing I want from him right now. Its a shame this is happening. He should answer your email if it is at least pilot not some crazy rant that just good business but if he is not even doing that, what a bad business man he is and makes wonder about placing a future order with him. If all these people turned him into papal he would get into trouble and be forced to change his ways.
    good luck

Crazy Bill isn't replying to jack shit from nobody. I also have a problem with him not shipping my bundle out. I contacted him through ebay as a last resort and no reply. Hope he enjoys getting nailed with a chargeback. If any you get a chance codered is charging $50 for Nightmare on blu ray on ebay.

I ordered LADY STAY DEAD in mid-November and it arrived about a week later. Reading all these horror stories now I'm afraid to order anything else and with a new bundle coming up I'm getting nervous. I wonder if he's still on the road wheeling and dealing. If not, I know he fell ill recently so I wish him well.

I ordered the Blu-ray bundle that had LADY STAY DEAD (the last day it was considered a pre-order) and received it in less than a week.

I got my Lady Stay dead blu ray but it was kind of slow. I also myself have sent Bill a few messages to no avail. Maybe he is just busy or doesn't feel like being bothered. Which is quite the norm as he isn't actually playing with a full deck.

Cover pics of the milligan bundle blu-rays, for those (like I was) dying to see the backsides & spines.

So what's the excitement with any of these three obscure flicks? I've never heard of any of them. What's the hubub? Gimme some details as to why I'd start whacking my wee like ronnie over slipcovers.

I've seen a couple of Milligan films before, and honestly have no desire to see any more of them. Code Red titles usually interest me, for the most part, but these three titles do nothing for me.

Yeah, I checked them out on IMDB - there doesn't seem to be any enthusiasm there. I watched bits and pieces on YouTube, and there's no way I could sit through any of these without passing out. I'm sure some folks are psyched about it, and that's cool, but yeah, no not for me.

Eerie Midnight Horror Show is available again if anyone is waiting for it.

I'm still waiting for the next killer Code Red release. I'm not into any of this stuff they're currently hooked on: blaxploitation, kung fu, soft core porn and DIY horror flicks. I'll even take some of those Corman post-apocalyptic titles on DVD way ahead of any of this Milligan stuff or the above-mentioned genre titles. With Scorpion's ever-shifting release dates there's nothing really left to get excited over IMO.

You never heard of these? Really? Well, for me it's all about nostalgia. I missed the grindhouse theater era (and locations) but was fortunate enough to have a few mom & pop video stores in the 80's-90's that stocked everything imaginable. There was a big-box vhs company known as "Midnight Video" (select-a-tape). This label almost exclusively released Andy Milligan & H.G. Lewis films. The only exception I can think of is "Microwave Massacre" which, for me, was probably the most actually enjoyable movie in their catalog (where's the blu-ray of this??). Regardless, Milligan films do have their own other worldly feel about them. And his signature disorienting, spiraling camera into the grass or floor during violent moments. I find his work, costumes & sets interesting. And also, the women he chose quite oddly attractive, facially and figurally. I can't wait to watch these blu-rays. And I'd buy "Rats are coming, Werewolves are here", "The Ghastly Ones", "Legacy of Blood" and "Carnage" on blu-ray in a heartbeat.
But that's the end for me. If I didn't watch it at 12...I'm not interested.

I've been curious about Andy Milligan's films since reading about them in the Psychotronic Encylopedia many years ago, but never actually got around to checking any of them out. I certainly don't intend to blind buy that 3-film bundle for $65 + shipping. Maybe I'll just get a taste by picking up "The Ghastly Ones" DVD for cheap?

...and also a Drive-In DVD bundle with Deathrow Gameshow, Superstooges vs. Wonder Women, and a "Six Pack" #3 with 6 films.

Eh... I'd buy Deathrow Gameshow if it was sold separately, but I don't know if the other titles are really worth it or not.

i was listening to the Death Journey commentary just yesterday, and in it Bill refers to The Guy from Harlem as a horrible blaxploitation film. Now he's releasing it. is the ability to acquire the license his only criteria for releasing a film? if even he thinks they're shit, why is he surprised when they (supposedly) don't sell well?

I just don´t understand why he keeps releasing these crap titles.
Yeah, these movies might have a fanbase of about 20-30 people on the entire planet, but there are also a reason why these titles have been dead and buried for the last 30-40 years, because it´s crap, beyond bottom at the barrel.

Instead of releasing a movie like "Butcher Baker...", that fans have been asking for, and a title he really would make some money on, he releases some schlocky dreck from Andy Milligan instead. Yeah, that´s exactly what the Blu-Ray crowd have been waiting for ;)

This guys is making some of the most braindead business decisions in human history.
If Code Red survives beyond next year, I will eat roadkill for an entire year ;) :D

Woah, Psycho From Texas is being released in a 6-pack. That's a surprise. I did not expect to see that coming out. Interesting. I wonder what the transfer looks like, or if it will be uncut.
