The Dark Dreams of Dario Argento-a book length study of the Italian filmmaker’s body of work and an expansion of her Master’s Thesis written at Columbia University. The title (Broken Mirrors/Broken Minds is adapted from a line of dialogue featured in Argento’s 1977 film Suspiria, and the rest of the book is no less detailed or arcane when it comes to the minutiae of Argento’s oeuvre. Quite simply, as Clive Barker so eloquently stated, the book is ‘Essential… will surely become the cornerstone of all subsequent Argento studies’.
