I hope he's remembering now how rude he's been to half the people who've ever asked for his autograph.

Any chance he was being playfully nasty with...some of these fans?

He wasn't mean to me. He's definitely a little intimidating but I think that's just who he is.

That's actually what I was thinking.

(Of course, endless testimonials to the contrary. And, I hear Children of the Living Dead brought up frequently when his name is mentioned. That can't be good.)

Jeez...another Zombie movie?
The genre has been oversaturated during the last 10 years, to the point that I donīt give a shit anymore. 99% of the zombie movies that are coming out are so bad, I just wanna dig my eyes out and burn them afterwards.

I would rather see him do an old-school Slasher or something like Creepshow etc.

But, Iīll guess Iīll give him a chance. But he better deliver on his words about taking the zombies back to the darker and scarier roots. Something like Fulciīs "Zombie". Cause if this is another running zombie movie...

You would think he would use some of that intimidation to get a studio to produce this project for a million dollars. Considering he's a legend in the business and all.

Then he wouldn't have to use kickstarter.

Iīm all up against this Kickstarter project thing.

Letīs face it, you will donate your money, but in the end, if the product is a hit, the gross will go to the credited producers.

As an example, you have the movie "Veronica Mars". Many people donated their funds so that the studio could greenlit the project. In just a few hours the goal was achieved. Now, when the movie is release it will most likely be a hit and who gets the money?

What they should do is whatever you donate you get (minus the initial amt) times what the movie makes. Let's say you donate $10 , and it gets made for a cost of $1 million , and it makes a total of $14 million in sales (including dvd & theater sales) you should get a check for $130.

Remember they aren't asking for your money for a ticket to watch the film, they are asking for money to make a film. In essences were all producers. I know I'm living in a fantasy world, but this is how it should work.

I'm not giving a dime to a guy who acts all stand-offish to his fans at cons. I've had "interactions" with him as he was a free autograph (for Gold pass holders) for 2 Weekend of Horrors cons I attended and he always has a chip on his shoulder.

I mean when someone approaches him and says they loved the make-up fx in Day of the Dead - you think he could at least say "Thanks". He just looked at me and said nothing. It was pretty uncomfortable. The second time I made sure to just get the free autograph, say nothing and leave.

I couldn't care less if I get part of the gross, all I care about is the damn thing being made.

It makes no sense to contribute for something to be made so that in the future you have to spend more money to see/own a product you already helped to finance.

Itīs like double/triple dipping on the same product.
