I remember reading about this one years ago.
It looks like a lot of fun and I loved the last two Killjoy sequels from the same director. |

Amazon is now quoting the 26th -- I know the date had been bouncing back and forth quite a bit:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ag=cinema09-20 It's part of Media Blasters' "Fresh Meat" line of indie flicks. Who wants to take the gamble? :-)

watched it last night i thought it was preety good for a really low budget film it has great gooey/slime/gore effects amazing working for such a small low budget!!! acting was bad of course but i was really never that bored with it and keep in mind it was directed by the guy who did the 2 great Killjoy films killjoy 3 and killjoy goes to hell!

Just finished it and really liked it. The FX is mostly practical and looks damn good and the movie has plenty of gore and nudity.
The acting and cinematography are typical for an indie production but the movie makes up for it with everything dealing with the bio-slime. |

Eh, I didn't really enjoy this one. Really liked Killjoy 3 & 4 from this guy but Bio Slime was not what I expected. There was a lot on unnecessary CGI in this and from what I remember the trailer made it seem like this would be an all practical effects film.
Plus the ending didn't make sense to me. I thought the giant mass in the attic (or basement; I don't remember) was the heart on the creature yet when that monster is blown up it all seems to be over...

I'm not sure about the ending part but I disagree about the CGI. There wasn't that much CGI involving the slime. 95% of it was practical it seems.

Maybe there wasn't a lot of CGI but all the slime that oozed from the walls was and that could have been done practical easily. Also, the slime tentacles that came out of infected people were CGI. I feel like there was more but I can't recall right now.
