Silent Night, Deadly Night (1984) 35mm Screening in Kentucky (Dec. 14)

Yes!!! The guys from DeadPit Radio have done it again...

On December 14th, they're hosting a rare 35mm print screening of SILENT NIGHT, DEADLY NIGHT!

I'm THERE!

I used to own this on 35mm but sold the print off to somewhere in Texas last year. Had the pleasure of screening it in both 2009 and 2010 (double-feature with Black Christmas that year, also on 35mm). Great Christmas slasher to see on the big screen with a rowdy packed audience.

Where did you read that Anchor Bay is re-releasing parts 1 and 2 on DVD again? I would love to get ahold of part 2 without paying the insane out of print prices. The movie is so bad, I can't help but be entertained by it, but I can't find any official information that Anchor Bay is re-issuing it.

It's up for pre-order on Amazon. SRP is $14.99, so it should be pretty cheap.

I wish we were getting the original on blu-ray, but I'll bite. Never got a chance to grab the original double feature before it went out of print.
