I can confirm that the STOP + Top Menu trick works on my Panasonic DMP BD75. Tried with Hatchet region A and it played. Just bought a Toshiba player that has an easy hack. Oh well.

The DMP-30 is from america, but has a mod chip in it, so i can set the regions (note if you set it to region A it will only play region A disc and visa versa), so have tried this with quite a few region A as well as region B discs, my mate has a UK DMP-30 Region B only and has tried this with a few of my region A titles, the DMP-75 cheat was checked on my mates UK Region B only machine with region A titles, and all have worked with the button cheats noted above. Will be interested in you guys trying the DMP-75 cheat on a non panasonic machine and noting the outcome.

The DMP 75 cheat does not not work on my Sony BDP S480. It may just be a Panasonic hack.

Thats a shame i was hoping this would work on other makes/models, hopefully it will work on a few and not just be a panasonic exclusive.

Has anyone tried it with a Panny BD80? Presume this is similar to a 30 and a 75?

have you tried the stop and top menu with the blu ray's you have? on my friends sony (can't remember the model), when we tried to press stop once the disc was loading the machine would not let it, so if you can stop and go straight to the main menu using the key hack on your machine with a region B disc, it will work on a region A disc.

Just ordered a cheapie off Amazon. The Grand Duel and Keoma double pack. 3 quid shipped. Even if it doesent work its hardly alot of money. I can also try the other method you originally posted with the SD card button on the remote. Mine has this button also. I presume they all have. Thanks for the tips. Fingers crossed
