Read this new interview with William Malone. He discusses the DVD at the end. He wants to get it out in the next 3-4 months, UNCUT, in scope, but NO distributor is announced.

I've never seen this, but that article definitely has me interested. Also, the trailer is pretty awesome. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N2ZHZyj8vrU
" It kills to live, and it lives... to kill." Then we have Klaus Kinski rambling on about an intergalactic butterfly collection. I'll check this one out. |

I'd just love to see the film in WIDESCREEN. I'd buy a Blu-ray in a heartbeat. I could really see Synapse or Shout Factory releasing this one for him. But it's good news that it should be coming soon from whoever.

I kinda like this one, pretty well produced for a fairly small film.Kinski was always a fascinating guy to watch.

This was on Netflix streaming (maybe still is), it's a cheapy Alien knockoff if I remember... it's good to see more interest in scifi horror with Promethious in theathers.

Makes you wonder what the hold up was all those years.
Looking forward to the Blu-ray. Unrelated, but somebody should put out Alien Predator (1987) as well.

I think this is a public domain title, but that still doesn't explain why it hasn't ever received a decent release. A DVD/BD in the correct aspect ratio would be tits.

Actually, in the interview that Shawn Francis linked to, the director states that the film is not public domain. He also says it'll be out on blu-ray in about four months. I don't know about DVD releasing, but that seems like a short amount of time considering he hasn't found a company to distribute it yet.

I think this DVD was in production for some time. Earlier in the year I found a post on IMDB dated last summer that CREATURE was going to hit DVD & blu-ray back in the later half of 2011.
ALIEN PREDATORS is owned by MGM; it'll probably be a MOD release. THIS-TV airs it on occasion under an alternate title of THE FALLING, which is what it'll probably come out under. |

Always wanted to give this one a try, but always skipped the old dvd as I heard it was severely cropped and near unwatchable. A WS version is just what I was waiting for, as long as the price is right. I'll go up to $8 for blu.

Anyway, I'd love to see a fully uncut widescreen version, so I hope the dude's being honest about that!

A Blu ray would be nice. I've got it on DVD and although it's good overall, some of the spaceship sequences are extremely grainy. I really enjoy this movie.

I'm sure I'll grab this if/when the price is right.
